Ten years with the Central Marketing Exclusion Register
The register could thus look back on ten full years of operation.
The Central Marketing Exclusion Register started up on 1 January 2011 as a result of the Personal Data Act entering into force.
The Central Marketing Exclusion Register is the responsibility of the Department of Distribution.
In terms of personnel resources, this is one of our smallest registers.
Nevertheless, the number of people who have registered to stop phone sales and direct-mail advertising exceeded 1.9 million in 2011.
